This is an in-depth, hands-on class to help you learn about biology. Hard work, dedication, and participation are both expected and required from us all.
The first characteristic of life are organization, which everything living is. The second characteristic of life is the acquiring of energy that every living things needs to survive. The third is homostasis, which all things living have. The forth is responsivness, which is what living things do with environment. The fifth is reproduction; living organisms do this to keep existence. Growth is the seventh and this key is important in the different stages living organisms go through. The final characteristic is adaption, which is what living organisms do to survive in different climates and regions of the world.
Organization, acquiring energy, homeostasis, responsiveness, reproduction, growth & adaptation are the 7 characteristics of life.To start with organization & acquring energy are both things us humans need.Reproduction, growth & adaptation is something we all need.Without reproduction or growth there wouldn't be as many humans on this earth.Adaptation is like getting use to being in a new place that you dont know where or what is around the town or city.So you'll have to get use to being around a different enviornment.Adaptation is not only getting use to place it's also getting use to the climate & habitats. We all have responsibilities- like the leader of a tribe has to lead all his/her people to safety.
1. Organization-Living things that are in a pattern. All living things have properties that cannot work without them. For example, a butterfly cannot fly without its wings. 2. Acquiring energy-All organisms acquire something they need, in order to survive. Such as, a lion feeding off its prey, they need meat, in order to survive. 3. Homeostasis-Many living things have their own way of controlling their interior temperature. For example, humans sweat when it is hot outside. Our body is releasing heat, fluid, and energy, in order for us to stay cool. 4. Responsiveness- All organisms respond to something that will ensure their survival. Such as, nocturnal animals, they go out at night, but rarely in the day, because they cannot see as well during the day. 5. Reproduction/Growth- Organisms mate to reproduce. The next cycle is that the offspring begins to grow, by taking nourishment. 6. Adaptation- All organisms have their own way of surviving in their environment. For example, a white rabbit survives better in areas where there is snow, because if they are being attacked, they can hide better in the snow; they blend in.
Organization- Each level has emergent properties due to interaction between parts Aquiring Energy-Your body takes in nutrients and materrial and turns it into energy Homeostacis- Your body ajust to meet your needs. The use of behavior to regulate your internal enviroonment Responsivness- things that respond to their suroundings Reproduction- This is how we spieses stay alive Growth- Organisms grow with age Adaption- Humans and animals adapt to their surounding in order to survive
The characteristics of life include organization, acquiring energy, homeostasis, respnsiveness, reproduction, growth, and adaptation.Organization is needed to stay alive and in control.Acquiring energy also is a need for us to live. All living things have homeostasis.Responsiveness is the response to things and their surrondings. They need to be able to adapt to their environments.Without reproduction the human species would be no longer.Every living thing goes through the important stage of growth.Lastly adaptation is key to surviving in the world.Everything lives in different places.Wether it's cold, hot,or regular tempature.
2) acquiring energy:each organism needs engery to do activity to survive! 3) homeostasis: To regulate at a certain point. 4) responsiveness:Every organism reponsonds to its enviroment. 5) reproduction. To contorl population of a species. 6) growth. To an organsim evolves over time. 7) adaptation. To adapt to its enviroment in order to survive!!!

What up class the name is Hayden Moore. Science is my favorite subject and I love to play guitar. Its going to be a good Sophmore year!
Organization- Each level has emergent properties due to interaction between parts

Homeostacis- Your body ajust to meet your needs. The use of behavior to regulate your internal enviroonment
Responsivness- things that respond to their suroundings
Reproduction- This is how we spieses stay alive
Growth- Organisms grow with age

organization: all living things ways of doing thins, all being subvided down to cells.
homeostasis: maintenance of a constant "internal environment" of lving things.
adaption: living things being suited to their way of life
reproduction: living things reproduce either asexually or sexual to preserve a species
growth: the maturing and development of cells to which a living things may fully mature
aquiring energy: living things both aquiring energy through different types of nourishment or both receiving and depleting energy
responsieness: living things reacting to their surroundings
